The work uniform of the Special Mission Service (Black Dragon Commandos).

Description

The uniform of the Black Dragon Task Force, stationed at Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng. The unit consisted of Groups 11, 71, and 72 based in Đà Nẵng; Group 75 stationed in Pleiku (Military Region II); and Group 68 stationed in Saigon (the Capital Special Zone).

Their combat teams were tasked with infiltrating enemy territory by air or overland into North Vietnam, or along the borders of Laos, Cambodia, or Thailand.

The first commander of the Task Force was Colonel Ngô Thế Linh, formerly Deputy Director of the Technical Department. His successors were Colonel Trần Văn Hai and Colonel Ngô Xuân Nghị.
