Thừa Thiên – Company 102 (Đại Đội 102) of the National Police Field Force (CSDC) in Thừa Thiên–Huế consisted of 10 platoons—approximately 500 armed personnel—tasked with maintaining security and public order throughout the entire town of Huế. Company 102 (CSDC) was placed under the command of the Thừa Thiên National Police Directorate (Ty CSQG Thừa Thiên).

It is also worth noting that the Thừa Thiên National Police Command (BCH CSQG Thừa Thiên) was the largest unit nationwide, with more than 5,000 personnel (including Company 102), under the command of Major Liên Thành (see the biography of Major Liên Thành).
