Battle of Hue, Tet Offensive (1968)

The Battle of Huế during the Tet Offensive was a 26-day battle fought between the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam and the Army of the Republic of Vietnam, supported by their U.S. allies, during the Tet Offensive. The battle was also part of the Vietnam War.

It was one of the fiercest engagements of the first phase of the Tet Offensive. Although the communist forces were eventually driven out of Huế, the battle had a profound psychological and political impact on the United States.
